A collection of short stories inspired by their lives will be written by a selection of our most acclaimed authors. These stories will be published and shared with our readers, with proceeds from the book being reinvested in Harlequin’s charitable initiatives.

The 5th Kevin Weekes Celebrity Charity Golf Classic, presented by the Barbados Tourism Authority, supported two youth focused initiatives including the Toronto based Sky’s the Limit, and The Phoenix Academy of Barbados. This exclusive event was held from July 2nd – 6th, 2009 on the picturesque island of Barbados.
Kids Helping Kids is a foundation to help disadvantaged children started in 2004 by Briana MacLeod when she was nine years old.
Kids Helping Kids chooses a wide range of organizations that help children in different ways and in different parts of the world. Their current plan is to give 60% of the money they raise to organizations in Montreal and 40% of the money they raise to organizations in the rest of Canada and international organizations.

The Rotary Club of Toronto Charitable Foundation is the fundraising and granting entity of the Rotary Club of Toronto. Its primary mission is to fund programs, in the City of Toronto, which benefit children and youth in the areas of health, education, child abuse and neglect, social development and life enrichment. It also funds community programs for the homeless, disabled and seniors and contributes, from time to time, to international Rotary projects which assist children and youth.
